NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK 2012

We have new topics designed around the British Science Week theme, ´Our World in Motion´

Animal Kinetics:Animals in Motion (KS2-4)

Your pupils will discover different animal acts of self-propulsion and learn that energy is required to overcome friction, drag, inertia and gravity to aid in their natural survival. We use an array of ´live´ creatures from around the world, along with a power point presentation aimed at KS2 and up.

Mimic the move & Wiggle Wriggle (Foundation & KS1)

Movement based topics are a brilliant way for younger years to learn about how animals move and copy the motions for themselves, whilst pretending to be the animals studied. It also encourages light exercise through fun play and promotes pupils social and attention skills, long with communication and the ability to follow simple commands on their own and as part of a team.

Our animals are chosen for their suitability and calmness. We actively encourage all children to partake, however our presenter will never push, judge or force an individual into touching, holding or doing any movement if they are unwilling.

There are two complete sets of animal to choose from for double the adventure!
